  Our garbage and recycling cans weren't picked up on our regular day, so I called Redwood Disposal. It is impossible to reach anyone near Santa Rosa where our local company is based. Instead I was routed after a long wait to a call center in Arizona. The result of the first call I made this morning was that our garbage would be picked up next week at the regular time -- not helpful with already full cans! The result of the second call was that my call had been "escalated" to a manager and I would get a call back very soon. 45 minutes later that hasn't happened. Just want the garbage picked up along with the neighbors on our side of the street, and others along 3 to 4 other streets whose cans remain full. Weak, weak, weak service -- what an unwelcome world of corporate protocols, anonymity and "efficiency."
