  Very good and honest mechanic. The downside with this guy is he's now a "one man shop" and he is "booked out for a while" (on the order of two months) so you really have to plan ahead.
  
  But he sees it as his mission to keep cars on the road longer, which puts him a bit at odds with government types who see old cars only as gross polluters and who assume you can afford to buy a new one. And if you consider the resources that go into manufacturing a new car, I'm pretty sure his approach is actually more environmentally sound. Because he'll probably keep your car running well past 300,000 miles.
