  I just got my 2005 GMC sierra 1500 truck 266000 miles on it back from the rear end shop. It would of been better to of swap out the rear end but they said I did not need it. Before it was all fixed I'm sure they wished they would of done the swap.
  
  First the axle bearing race was spinning on the axle. They replaced the axle and bearings and gave it back to me. $1,500.00. When I got it back I notice a grinding noise. They took the rear end apart but could not find the problem and gave it back to me. The next day a rear axle seal leaked fluid and destroyed the brakes. I towed it back to them and they found the housing was bent. They replace the housing for the cost of the housing $500.00 and installed new brakes and gave it back to me. But there was still a loud howling/ whine in the rear end at 40 mpg decelerating. I drove it back to them after leaving a very frustrated voice mail. They replaced the pinion gear at no cost. The rear end is now working fine.
  
  The rear end shop replace a lot of parts either without additional labor or at no extra cost. I don't know of any other shop that would do that defiantly not Victory Chevrolet. But that's another review
  
  Victory Chevrolet is a stealer ship.
